MP Candidate for Newcastle upon Tyne North - Independent
Manifesto
I am standing for MP as an independent for Newcastle upon Tyne North because you deserve a choice. I have a Masters degree in Politics (Research) and I’m currently undertaking a PhD in Politics and Theatre at Newcastle University. I could be England’s first democratically elected King. This is because I am standing as a political strongman using the name King Teare which is my Equity name. I am a talented and trained orator and can memorise large texts for whatever issue I am addressing. That is why I will be able to represent your views in Parliament as an independent voice.
My three main points are:
1) I am for peace across the world and will advocate for an immediate ceasefire for a decolonised and free Palestine.
Enough is enough and this issue has gone on too long. I am the candidate for peace. I have specific methodology derived from a Brazilian practitioner that when implemented will advance peace and understanding.
2) Homelessness solved through specialist pastoral services.
Simply there is a model out there in the public domain by the theatre company Cardboard Citizens, they have performed in Parliament and specifically the House of Lords. We just need to invest and expand on their model.
3) Law-making by the people for the people.
I have methods for constructing law through a participatory approach and also to prevent law if necessary.
How I will govern:
Consent - Always act with integrity. Respect your own boundaries and other peoples’ boundaries. Be aware of power dynamics, and of intentional or unintentional manipulation, pressure or coercion.
Participation - The more you put in, the more you get out. Jump in, stretch your limits and contribute to a rich & supportive environment.
Radical Self-Reliance - You are responsible for you. Make sure you have everything you need to survive and thrive. Nourishing food, enough water, good rest, and emotional support.
Leave A Better Trace - We clean up after ourselves; we leave the place as we found it — or better!
Radical Inclusion - We welcome the stranger and value people for their unique contributions. Include others as you want to be included: with respect, consideration and kindness.
Immediacy - Make now count, there is no other moment but this one. Experience, participate, be present. This is all there is, and you are exactly where you need to be.
Education - Communal Effort - Civic Responsibility - Radical Self-Expression - Gifting
I am a King, I will obviously be raising taxes, it goes with the territory but guess who will be paying? That’s right, the billionaire class. In addition we will be encouraging investment and will advocate for low tax for working people.

I have seen firsthand how government budget cuts have deteriorated our streets, public spaces, and services over the years.
In an effort to save £60 million over the next three years, the Labour-led council has proposed a 4.99% increase in our council tax bills, following 14 years of decreases by both the Conservative and Labour governments. The major parties in this year of general elections—Labour and Conservative—are both promising to maintain austerity. Party policy will not limit my actions as an Independent Member of Parliament. I wish to significantly improve your standard of living. In the event that I win on July the 4th, I pledge to dedicate my entire being to serving as your representative and that of our neighbourhood while promoting equality and justice throughout the world. By using the strategies I have chosen, I will work to ensure that your opinion is heard first when the city council makes decisions. I'm not a politician by profession. I am running as an independent Member of Parliament because I believe that the public should have an unrestricted path to discuss and vote without being bound by established party politics. I will represent you and our town as an independent Member of Parliament. During routine ward surgeries, emails, phone calls, or coffee mornings, we will move forward. |
